Let's configure your LED display together.

Four short questions. You don't need to know the technical terms; where you are not sure, just say "I don't know". The configuration engine does the calculations.

The configuration selects compatible components for your display from the catalog. You can note in the project name that you prefer this product.

01 Where will the display be used?
02 Indoor or outdoor?

If you picked a use case, its usual environment is preselected; you can change it.

03 Approximate size

An exact size is not required. The display is fitted to the nearest suitable size based on cabinet dimensions.

04 How close will viewers be to the display?

The viewing distance helps determine the right pixel pitch.

What gets calculated

What does LedCommerce determine for you?

The configuration engine derives the display's technical system from the information you provide. The results are listed on your project page.

Actual display size

The best width and height achievable with the cabinet dimensions.

Pixel pitch

Pixel density suited to the use case and viewing distance.

Cabinet and module layout

Cabinet and module counts by row and column.

Resolution

The display's total width and height in pixels.

Receiving cards

The number of receiving cards required for the pixel load.

Controller

A compatible controller or video processor that can carry the resolution.

Power requirement

Power supplies sized for average and maximum consumption.

Technical bill of materials

The list of every item that makes up the system (BOM).

Quick facts

Why does pixel pitch matter?

Pixel pitch is the distance between the LEDs. The closer viewers are to the display, the denser the pixels must be for the image to look sharp. For displays viewed from a distance a wider pitch is enough and lowers the cost.

Close viewingMeeting room, lobby: dense pixels
Medium distanceStore, shopping mall, stage
Distant viewingFacade, street, stadium: wide pitch

The image is for illustration only. The right pixel pitch for your project is determined during configuration.
